Now that we are back in-person learning, the Biology and Anatomy classes need new supplies!  Specifically, they need a new microwave for Laboratory Investigations (total cost of $100); a life size human skeleton model, which provides a realistic approach to examining the human skeleton (total cost of $500); two Human Skull with Cervical Spine Models, which enables students to visualize the skull and cervical spine when examining the nervous/skeletal systems (total cost of $300); 10 touchless thermometers for Homeostasis Inquiry Based Experiments (total cost of $250); and a 35 class set of The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks Paperback Book, which will help students learn how HeLA cells were vital in developing vaccines, uncovering discoveries related to viruses and cancer as well as engage in discussions centered around social justice issues (total cost of $500).
