We're Back! Please help us lift up Lincoln Park High School one student and one donation at a time. We have an ambitious goal this year of RAISING $80,000, and every single donation matters. You can give ANY amount - every dollar counts!  Our goal is to have 100% participation by every family - whatever you can give helps tremendously. All funds raised will be donated directly back to the school to fund critical academic needs; faculty and staff education and support; items such as SMART Boards; and numerous student programs that the CPS budget does not cover. All donations are 100% tax deductible.

WE ARE FOCUSED THIS YEAR ESPECIALLY ON GETTING SMART BOARDS INTO EVERY CLASSROOM AT LPHS. LPHS currently has approximately 45 SMART boards, and our goal is to have a SMART board in all 90 classrooms. SMART boards are incredibly interactive and enable teachers to connect their computers, video cameras, digital cameras, microscopes, and pretty much anything else that you can think of to help aid with instruction. Using smart technology in the classroom can help raise test scores, improve student learning, increase student engagement, enhance literacy, boost attentiveness, and increase comprehension. These interactive boards provide an extraordinary opportunity for teachers to create a classroom environment where students with different learning styles can learn from each other. They also last a very long time and require very little maintenance. The current projectors in many classrooms are failing, breaking, and unfixable. Each SMART board plus installation costs approximately $4000, and LPHS needs about 45 more SMART boards. We will purchase as many SMART boards as possible with the funds we are able to raise.
